Victor W. Hwang Endowed Scholarship

Purpose: To assist talented and driven students who strive to change the course of their life through education and reach ambitious goals beyond what they thought they could attain.

Criteria:
• Minimum 3.0 GPA in high school or college or submit a GED.
• Essay should explain what led you to pursue your educational path and the characteristics you possess to make you successful. It should also express what you have gained from your education at ACC and your goals once you graduate or transfer.
• Financial need (as determined by the ACC Financial Aid Office).

In essay, please explain how your abilities, talent, and character will help you in your journey to achieve your goal.

Terms of Scholarship:

1. May be used for any program at ACC that leads to a certificate or associate degree or to transfer to a 4-year institution.
2. Successfully complete a minimum of six hours with a 3.0 GPA each semester.
3. Scholarship applies to tuition, fees and books.
4. Scholarship must be used within one academic year.
