Austin Classical Guitar Scholarship

Purpose: To assist students enrolled in the ACC Music Program who show musical ability in guitar.

Criteria:
• Minimum 2.5 GPA in Music courses and 2.5 GPA overall.
• Financial need (as determined by the ACC Financial Aid Office).
• One letter of recommendation from a classical guitar instructor
• An essay indicating musical background and future goals.

Terms of Scholarship:
1. Scholarship applies to tuition, fees, books, and supplies.
2. Successfully complete a minimum of nine hours with a 3.0 GPA in Music courses and a 2.5 overall GPA each semester while on scholarship.
3. Scholarship must be used within the academic year it was awarded.
4. Re-application necessary each academic year.
