Rosalind F. Cunningham Endowed Scholarship
Purpose: To support underrepresented students at Austin Community College (ACC) and provide financial assistance to promising and deserving students seeking higher education at ACC.
Criteria:
• Obtained high school diploma or GED prior to enrolling at ACC.
• Minimum 2.5 GPA in high school or college work.
• One letter of recommendation and a resume preferred.
• Financial need (as determined by the ACC Financial Aid Office).
• Scholarship is open to everyone that meets the criteria; however, preference will be given to African American applicants so long as such preference does not significantly detract from ACC’s nondiscriminatory policies.
Terms of Scholarship:
1. Successfully complete a minimum of six semester hours while maintaining a minimum GPA of 2.5 each semester.
2. Must be enrolled in a certificate or associate degree program or planning to transfer to a four-year college or university.
3. Scholarship must be used within the academic year awarded.
4. Scholarship applies to tuition, fees, books, and educational expenses.
