Steve Kramer Memorial

Steve Kramer, Artist, Educator, and Art Department Chair, a good man who made many friends at Austin Community College, left a legacy of fairness and strength, as well as an effective and growing Art Department. He will be missed by many in the ACC community, as well as by family and friends. Anyone who knew Steve, on whatever level, felt enriched by his wisdom, depth of knowledge, purpose, and talent. Steve’s desire to educate students, make the best possible environment for faculty, students, and staff, and to diplomatically assure the ACC administration of the importance of a well-funded and effective Art Department, left a strong impression on all of us. We feel that a fitting tribute to his love of teaching will be felt through an endowed scholarship in his name at Austin Community College.
