Robert "Jay" Jenkins Memorial

Robert “Jay” Jenkins proudly served in the U.S. Army for thirty years before retiring in May 1994. While in the military, Jay received many decorations, medals, citations and campaign ribbons, listed are just a few, the Army Service Ribbon, National Defense Service Medal, Southwest Asia Service Medal with the Bronze Star, Overseas Service Medal, Army Commendation Medal 3rd OLC, Saudi Kuwait Liberation Medal, Southwest Asia Cease Fire Campaign Medal, Defense of Saudi Arabia Campaign Medal, Defense and Liberation of Kuwait Campaign Medal, Rifle M-16 Marksman Badge, and the Army Achievement Medal 3rd OLC.

After retiring from the military Jay worked for the State of Texas, State Office of Administrative Hearings and retired from the State of Texas in 2010.

Jay’s passion was cooking for family and friends and he also loved to dance.
